Natascha Mostert graduated in 2001 with a BA degree in Graphic Design with Art History and Communication. After her studies she lived in the United Kingdom for two years where she travelled through Europe and furthered her studies at Oxford Media and Business School.
After returning to South Africa she began her career in Cape Town working as an in-house designer where she developed a love for cooking, food styling, recipe layout and book design. In 2008 she received an honours degree in Art History. During her studies at Stellenbosch University she was influenced by academic and artist Keith Dietrich's passion for page layout and the book as art form. This opened doors for many book projects in the following years. In 2009 Natascha started her freelance career in Kerk street, Stellenbosch.
Over the past decade she has designed many art books, novels, recipe booklets, advertisements, corporate identities and a wide variety of marketing material for print and social media.
Natascha mostly works independently, but have collaborated with renowned South African artists, foodies and photographers. Her work has been featured in numerous publications including Sarie, Sarie Kos, Rooi Rose, Food & Home, Good Housekeeping, Goeie Huishouding and on the Expresso Morning Show - SABC3.
